At least in our neck of the woods Spring Turkey Season just ended. That means we've got a lot of birds we just processed hanging out in our freezer right now. We've got a few months to enjoy those before fall season rolls around and we get a few more. |
To use up what we've got in the freezer here are a few of our favorite turkey recipes: Bacon lovers can rejoice, this bacon wrapped turkey roast is to die for. You get all the tender juicy flavors of sous vide turkey, mixed with the crispy goodness we all love about bacon. If you've heard of transglutaminase or "meat glue" this is a great recipe to try it out with. |

Whole
Turkey Sous Vide
Did you know you can cook a whole turkey sous vide? Of course due to the size of most turkeys you will need to butcher it first, but this is a great option anytime you've got a group to feed. One of the best summer features of this recipe is that it doesn't require a hot oven all day heating up the house on a hot day. |
Crispy Stuffing Waffles Covered in a Creamy Turkey Gravy
This one is a go to Thanksgiving leftover recipe, but if you've been eating a lot of turkey lately, it's a great option for any turkey leftovers. This is a great meal to throw together on a busy summer night when you've been working today and have to get dinner together before taking the kids to baseball. |
